BreastCheck (formerly the Manitoba Breast Screening Program) is a program of CancerCare Manitoba, the organization responsible for cancer prevention, detection, care, research and education throughout Manitoba.  The program's 2 mobile breast screening units currently visit nearly 90 locations throughout the province with the goal saving lives by finding breast cancer at it's earliest stages.

Our program works closely with the regional health authorities, local health workers and First Nation communities around the province to ensure that rural and Northern Manitoba women have access to high quality breast screening services.  The RHA and community partners provide space for the mobile clinics, assist with promotion and actively recruit women into the program.

The CancerCare Manitoba website has a comprehensive drop-down listing of locations and approximate dates (month/year) but does not include specific dates or addresses.  The website address is CancerCare Manitoba.

Once dates and locations for a mobile site are confirmed, our program will send out personal letters of invitation to women 50 to 69 years of age who live in the area, advertise in community newspapers, and notify local physicians and health workers.
